Working with Backgrounds. In this lesson you will learn how to work with the backgrounds in your images. By creating a vignette or completely changing the backgrounds that are there, as well as some of the best brushes to create painterly backgrounds. Some of the basics of using Corel Painter are also taught in this lesson. You will learn how to create a custom palette, work with brushes and their variants, color cloning, etc.
Working on Clothes. This lesson will focus on the clothing. How different brushes are used to create different fabric looks. Tackling plaids, stripes and other fabric textures will be covered in this lesson.
Working on Skin and Eyes. This is the most important lesson I feel. In a portrait, the eyesare what draw you in. This lesson will show how to get the eyes to really stand out. This lesson also teaches how to paint the skin to look painted yet still realistic.
: Working on Hair. Another important aspect of the painting is in the hair. This is the last step in painting the portrait. You will learn how to make the hair glow! We will also finish up in Photoshop. After your painting is completed in Painter you will take your file into Photoshop to finish up. Sizing, sharpening, adding contrast or color enhancing are all steps covered in this lesson.
